A Simon Properties Group property in Huntsville, Alabama is the largest property acquisition company in the state.
The acquisition group’s holdings range from the historic Huntsville Palace to the former Aladdin Theater.
Simons acquisition of the Huntsville palace, which was built in 1932 and closed in 2003, has generated $6.6 million in sales and a $2.5 million loss for the group.
The purchase also includes the former Madison Square Garden, which is currently owned by the New York Times Company.
